spam

tell u a funny thing. i had been using hotmail, icqmail, yahoo mail, etc, all of which are free email accounts. but i hard receive any junk mails. sometime i wonder why don't the companies send me junk? is it because they see me as poor or something? haha... in some way i envy those that have their email account flooded with fwd or junk mails. as i see it, all those mails seems to make the account holder looks important or popular something. some weird ideals i have here huh? er... but said i was normal-normal huh? =p

so recently i started getting junk mails which kept telling me about my mail order or refund of some sort. although the frequency of these mails are like 3 per days and sometime 5 on a weekend (i wonder why?), i don't feel at all important or popular. in fact its kinda boring to see the same heading again and again.

i wonder how does these junk mails work. who send the mails out and how do they get the email address? if there are people who compose and send these junk mails out, how are they paid? do they get extra if the person that they send the mail to opens the mail or reply? hmm... i know there are ways to find out all these information by going to some Goggle search but er... i shall just sit here and wait for people like you... my dear friends to enlighten me lar... =P
