korean movie

had you seen the news the other day where actors and directors had took to the street to protest against the new policy of reducing the no. of hours/precentage of complusory screening for their local movie vs foreign film? it seems the 2 groups are 1 that support their local film scene and said that allow more foreign movies will in turn kill their opportunities and market share (in other word-"ricebowl"). then the other group that says that having the complusory precentage thingie allows low quality local film to be screen is a waste of resource and also in a way lowering the quality of the overall production thingie.

hmm... being an outsider my view is simple. i agree with the later. mainly because i am not affected by the policy directly and i agree that not all korea movie is good. the plots can be pretty lame and filming draggy. argh... *puke* ya..ya.. i had been pretty crazy over the korea movies/dramas recently and having watch a wide range of those available in singapore... my verdict is... WAT LAU! JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS SPEAK HANGEUL, YOU THINK YOU CAN EXPORT 2ND RATE SHOW OUT MEH?! WAT LAU!!!

I SO REGRET BUYING SOME MOVIES! WASTE MY MONEY AND TIME SIA. THEIR PLOTS ARE SO LAME AND DUMB! BLINDLY FOLLOWING THE KOREA-WAVE IS SO DUMB! ya...i am scolding myself lar! *sigh* damn regretful sia...

in conclusion -> pretty faces =/= good plots!
