ice-cream...green tea or washabi?!
my 1st experience of ice-cream was when i was pretty young. my family wasn't very well-off so ice-cream was one of the lavish food that my mom could offer for her beloved 2nd born (n of cuz her fav!). somehow as i grew big in age and in size, ice-cream became something that was cheap in my view. its nothing compare with a rib-eye steak or some french snails (but since i don't really like these 2 thing i don't really spend that much).
this evening my hubby introduced me to green tea and washabi ice-cream in bugis parco. its so expensive!! its at least $3.50!! seriously if not for my hubby wanting to buy i won't had done it myself. so we bought 2, one of each favour. initially it was interesting but 5 bites into the ice-cream i wanted to throw it all away. but when i thought of the money spent i didn't. =( in the end i suffered from a very disturbed tummy.
the green tea favour is really really green tea!! it had a bitter after taste and was still sweet and creamy. so in my view it was a very werid feeling. the washabi was worst still (my hubby insisted that i ought to try it) it was sweet at 1st but once it travel pass my tongue it had a tingling washabi taste! yes that spicy taste. and that taste was accompanied with a sense of sweetness and cream. *faint* it was all too much for my mind to take. i guess i am not too adventerous that's why i hate it. but the queue for it was really long!
after having the ice-cream my tummy was feeling werid!! it was cold but it felt hot (spicy mah). i really felt like puking!! (NOT THAT I AM PREG LAR!!!) it was the same the other day when i had jap seasem ice-cream, only that i really puke. =B
if i go to bugis again soon, i will take some pic and post it on here for u to see...the ice-cream lar not the puke!! haha....
