in-charge vs junior
am i being stuck up if i tell u that i prefer to be in-charge? but i truly feel so for the past 2 days. i had been a jr these 2 days. the great part of being a jr is that we get to go for break and can just breeze thru the passing report part, picking up only simple instructions. but have students around while being a jr is really too relaxing. cuz students will help to attend call-bells, shower patients, collect specimens, take parameters and update charts. the only things that we have to do (sort of) are bed-sponge the patients, check that drips/ change it, dressings, take blood, set plug or off it. its boring cuz i hate having nothing to do and when that set it i will just let it be and veg out! having students have it pros and cons. =)
so if i tell u that i rather be a in-charge that doesn't mean that i am proud and think that being in-charge is more superior but b'cuz i like being on the move. o_O''

On my side, if the SN happens to be junior and free. They will normally help out other rooms to take blood and also do changes. For me when I'm junior, I also help to give IV and stuff... :)
hmm... if my seniors are the nice ones they will do everything to help me with everything and they will help to pace me too. remind me to do this and that. i am glad but if they aren't the nice one... long story my dear friend long story...
