i overheard this

i was on a bus home one evening and there were 3 young white-collars speaking rather loudly on the bus. they were talking abt the A*star vs Acidflask thing. they spoke about their views regarding the remarks of the CEO and how they felt about the entire thing. personally i think they are crazy! they are risking they lives talking on the bus ever so loudly about such sensitive issue. yah, right i belong to the 'keep ur mouth shut' s'porean. why not? its the safest. talk too much is bad, see that chap-acidflask (tats the nick right?) he gets whack for talking too much. personal views or not, speech is not free! *shaking the finger* not even when u r miles from home... internet indeed had brought people closer to each other. sometime too close for comfort! no matter where u r or what u do, the big guy is watching! in a nutshell, i felt that this entire issue is a lost-lost situation. nobody gains from it. only bad reputation. oh, i guess the winner in this case may only be the reporters (i suppose) cuz they have something new and interesting to write about. =p
