a typical new year day

like very festival day, the main enjoyment of very living creature is to be around their love-ones and catch up with one another.

1st jan is the new day of the new year (as if every other day is an old day!??!) and 2nd jan is my bros birthday so today is celebration day. we ate and ate and ate. steamboat, cakes and beef jerky (from taiwan). after the lunch which stretched from ~2pm to 6pm. my hubby and i rested for a while (pitstop break! haha...) before hitching a ride from my sis back to my in-laws for *bell rings* round 2!

round 2 was a simple dinner for 4, steam fish, vegetables, eggs+leftover Xmas ham, buah keulat(some baba's nut dish) and fruits. eat til my pants burst sia. but the simple dinner was good. boy! i miss my mom-in-law's dinner already. even leftover are even so tasty. haha... the bliss of living with elders.

so this is my new year day....
