stay positive.. D is good

i had a bio. test about 2 weeks back and i dare not tell my hubby. its like a primary school kid who sat for spelling test but dare not tell her parents. reason?! because i did not study!!! and to make things worst...i did actually skip a few lessons! =P terrible right?

today... our dear Dr. (aka professor) Tan released the result! 2 persons fluke! initially i thought one of it must be me but with the grace of God i passed with a D!!! after that i joked with Dr Tan a little and then asked if he will go thru the answers with the class. i wanted to see my mistake...you see... his reply was that if i want can go to see him 1 to 1 and view my SAQ. and then he went on saying...

DR:
"what did you get?"

me:
"D lor. no matter how hard i stare at the paper, still D. aiyo..."

DR:
"did you study?"

me:
(giggly) "err... no lar... never study. that's why so terrible."

DR:
"that's good. if you didn't study and still manage a D. that means if you had studied, you will be able to get better grade. now at least you know you must do harder for the exam lor."

me:
"ya lor. but this sem's bio very general hor? like don't have those confirm SAQ/ eassy material one leh. very hard to spot question...."

DR:
"its all very simple, just plain common sense. just understand the principles and use logical explaination to come to the conclusion (then he qoute an ageing process and it co-relationship to the physcial changes from cell -> structure -> it clinical manifestation)

me:
(blank look) "orh... but sometime common sense not so common mah."

(conversation goes on and on but the goal of trying to get some insider infor. for possible SAQ/eassy qn for exam - FAIL!)
