shaken faith-long long long entry

when the end times is near we will hear of wars, famine, floods, etc... sons and fathers will go against each other... yet people will still be making merry, getting married and giving into marriage... then the world will raise against The One and they will gather to fight the final battle.

everything written gave a very clear account of the things to come. my mindset was geared towards the coming with mental images of prosecuted believers being saved from their oppression and torturing. but what if everything was just pure grey? (maybe u won't understand me...its ok, its just me talking to myself...)

the world generalise too much sometime. its just like a singaporean travelling to (err...) america, people immediately think or assume that he/she is a japanese or china-chinese. because we generalise things/people and can't see the differences will that then blind/affect our judgement? yes, it will. but will it shake our faith in His Word and His Love?

i am not into politics and may be getting some facts wrong here...
Israel is the promised land, the blessed nation and it's people-the choosen race. Christ will come to save His people and when He comes again, He will be the warrior and be armed to destroy His enemy. i can accept all these if His people were oppressed and crying for His help. not when His choosen people are the one declaring of war, bombing others, etc.

i am all confused now. the Holy Spirit in me tells me not to look to the nation and its doing but rely on His Words and His teaching. but i can't help trying to make sense out of this senseless situation.

if the whole world decided to go to war against this God choosen nation, where will i stand? will i reject the mark (which may ensure me of the rights to buy food and trade) and stand with the choosen nation in following God or will i not? there's lots of thots in my mind now... i will if there was a clear marking of who is at wrong and who is right. but with centuries of history and grievences presented by the different sides, who will we believe in and where must we stand? i really don't know. (in case u start wondering if i am a mentally unstable person... I AM NOT. just a little Spiritually confused right now)

come to think of it, when i say the choosen nation, Israel. not all Israeli believe in Jesus. even those that know Him, may not even believe in His 2nd coming or that He is the Son of God and that He had raisen. since there is so much differences in that 1 nation, where is the standard? is every single Israeli in this group of 'choosen ones' or are Jews the only choosen one? so much that i don't understand and can't understand. maybe i ought to ask a scholar in Theology but will he knows the answer to all my questions? i don't know. =(

the answer? err... should be this- there is only 1 standard and it is God. Jesus will come at the time that only the Father will know. who is the choosen nation or who will be the anti-Christ? that is not up to me nor anyone to predict. everything is in the control and the perfect timing of the Lord. will i be the goat or will i be the sheep? will my faith be shaken and broken? i have no idea; just like Jude, who had no idea that he would be the one that will betray and cause Jesus to be nailed on the cross.

i can only say "Lord, let Your will be done, on earth as in heaven above. Amen."
