i love my work... =)
maybe its new to me thus everything seems so exciting and great to me. really... i love my work. today is my 1st offical day on shift. lots to learn even as a junior.
honestly i wonder why some of my friends are so uptight of being asked to do some junior procedures - oral toilet/ feeding/ showering/ changing drip/ dating plugs/ etc. hmm... maybe as compared to following the room-i/c and learning labeling/ calling the doc/ giving med/ giving iv/ etc. those jr work seems to easy? err... i am no angel but i think jr work is really important and not all that easy too. must remember to update those I/O, vomit, bowel, positioning, bedpan chart is not easy. i like walking up and down, doing things but when it comes to documentation... wau lau... i really miss it all out. =P
today i was a junior in the room of 6 pt. during my student time, i only knew junior work as serving food, bedpan, maintain the room in order and ensure the comfort of the patient, blah blah blah... but come to real working life, junior or i/c alike all have special duties! must covering the clerk's duty, must check this and that. its fun to learn new things. meet new people and impart knowledge to others. i love it. =B
oh... i see some interesting relationship between people too. no no... not those indecent one lar! well, lets just say there are people with different personality working in the same area lar. =) i hope i will do my work well. i don't pray for all to love me but at least i pray none will hate me. =)
i love Jesus. being with people allows me to realise the beauty of His great love for mankind. i pray for wisdom to speak, so that my words will be kind and gentle and can bring fro a little comforting and healing to the areas where medical science had yet be able to reach.
good night, beautiful day. =)
Psalm 91:4
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
