dinner tonight

we went to this special and suppose to be a really good place for dinner tonight. its called "capital resturant" near chinatown. they have this hairy crab set meal for $40++ per head. so we went.




i do like crab once a while but not a big fan of it. but hairy crab? its hairy whatelse can i say? its scary just thinking of it. but i thot what the heck, just try it. so it came, hairy as it is. its legs were all hairy (not very but still hairy) then its pincers are covered with this layer of thick black hair!!! at 1st i thot it was burned or something but when i realised its all hair i nearly fainted! i don't want any of those hair touching my lips, man!

here's a picture of hairy crab i got from the net, its not as scary looking but having seen one and touched it, i doubt i will scream for somemore of it!





then there was another dish that we had, called the deep fried quail. its was crispy and tasted really great! til... i saw a small ball of something on the plate... it was the head of the quail! *faint* its beak, eyes and everything was on it! i felt like i was eating a foetus of a bird (cuz it was so small and its bone was so easily chewed apart). another picture i got from the net, in fact from another blogger - who actually love the deep fried bird

Oishii Eats

weird... i don't mind eating beef, mutton, pork, chicken and fish. maybe its the eyes of those animals that i saw tonight which makes my dinner a really horrifying experience?! =(
