PS-u might need a little Bible knowledge to understand some of the examples i qoute
One of the new addition to our family took my palms (not the electronic one hor!!!) and attempted to read my 'destiny' last night. she said that i can't wish for too much in life. nothing is perfect in life. i can't expect a great family along with career and blah blah blah. wow! i was taken quite a bit by a Christian telling me that! ok, she is a 1st generation believer and had a grandma that was involved in such practises but err...
although i am not a very good debater for my faith, i had always kept my anchor in Christ and had been steadfast in my walk (haha... that's the BB motto u know! i was a BB officer-trainee in my poly days wor...) so i rebuke those negative sayings and comments! afterall Sarah had her loving hubby and a great son in her later years wat! even for Hana, although she wept and was scorned for being childless, the Lord saw her woes and poured out His love to her and granted her a son that later became one of the greatest man in the Bible!! there was also John who too was born to his aged mummy. i believe God is the creater and the author of my life. He will pour fro His blessing regardless of... a verse goes this way... its say that God knows of the desire of my heart even before i utter it. now that i had utter it and proclaimed his promise unto my life, no amount of waviering should shake my believe in His love and promise. =)
oh cuz, i am not blaming mrs 'new-addition'. after all righteous Job had his own share of doubt and negative comments during the time when he was struck with some weird skin disease, had his wealth and fortune lost almost overnight and his family killed. Job wept and even cursed the day that he was born! his good friends even said things that discourage him. like a deer in the mountain, Job stood sure-footed in God and his rewards at the end of the testing was plentiful! more than what he had own perviously. i am sure my GOd is good... and all the time He is Good!! =>
