friday lunch out

every friday my group will try to make it to visit some good eating places. sometimes its everyone, most times its not. today we went to Jalan Bersar (near DCS) planning to try the Hakka food. but we were so lucky! the shop rest every forenight's friday and we got the pleasure of visiting it on the rest day! *argh* maybe i will go there this weekend with Fion?! hmm....

so in the end we settled down with the noodle shop directly opposite the Hakka food's shop. the fried fishcakes were pretty standard only that there was one with cheese in it. quite different. i can't put a description to it (hey! i am not ARTs student, hor). since i am not a fishcake (or any processed food) lover, i think that will be the last time i will be having it. the noodle was ok but too oily. they used chilli oil! i think the chilli used was the dried sort. i had a few trips to the loo 4hrs after that noodle intake. maybe its the chilli oil. actually i still prefer by number 88 minced meat noodle @ taman jurong market! *mental note-must go back and have lunch with LK n the rest, one of these 2-3hr breaks*

wonder where we will be eating at next week's friday!? hmm... somewhere healthy i hope! =b
