drawing us closer?!

i had that my ward has a blog too! so i went on the net and found it. its just another attempt by some very pro-active and lively individuals to build bonds and spirits up. not too bad the only spirit there (which i felt) was the spirit of doom. haha... the blog is not just dying but i will prononuce it DIED! haha...

why does people have this idea that if a group of people come together and create a blog together, it will draw them closer? i had attempted to realise this naive thought on 3 attempts.

  • 1st- with my sub-group members during my schoolings days results? it lasted for 1-2 weeks but after that it was labelled as DIL (dangerously ill list) and ordered MWM (max. ward management) - not for active resus. yes, it died... soon after... *sigh*

  • 2nd- with my friend's friend. he wanted to create a blog that we can just rumble/ grumble abt relationships. but...due to the lack of ideas and limited experience on relationship, it faded off too.

  • 3rd- with my nursing cohort people. everyone want to be in the comment page but none dare or bother to sign up as member to post on the blog. so it suffered a miscarriage, even before it was properly received by the world. *sigh* the most ironic part of it, is that the creator of the blog had broke the bond and left the nursing/ healthcare sector! haha... life... *shake head*

so can someone tell me whats the use of blogging in that sense? my take to it is simply- if people can't bond, they just can't. no amount of hiding behind the computer can help break barriers and open them up. *sigh*

yo, I can tell you that blogging is not an obligation. If it becomes one that it will be quite sad. :)

Sometimes friends can be close but not talk often. And those who communicate often, doesn't necessarily represent closeness.

On the 2nd one, it is still active leh.... :P Just not that much contribution....

just my 2 cts...

=) heehee... ya...

but hor... that's why the internet is full of 'junk'. almost everyone will have a blog here and there but never use it. ending up with lots of storage spaces being wasted. in the end service-provider had to restort to charging to ensure the storage is used in good sense. but of cuz there are alway other site that remains free. =)
